Here is exactly what happens, and what you pay at each step. Nothing is due until you have seen the car on video and signed the contract.

WhatsApp video call: full walk-around, engine running, interior, mileage on screen. Ask anything, live.

We send our inspection report. You can appoint your own mechanic in Yaoundé to check the car at either park.
0 FCFAContract, then deposit
The sales contract is signed and sent before any payment. The deposit is paid by MTN Mobile Money or Orange Money, with a receipt.
DepositPapers and delivery
Registration (carte grise) transferred to your name. Delivery by road to your city, or collect at a park. Balance on handover.
BalanceBe wary of any seller asking for a deposit before a contract. At ROY AUTO the contract is signed first, payment then goes through Mobile Money or bank transfer, and you get a receipt for every payment.
What we check
- Engine: cold start, noises, smoke, leaks
- Gearbox and clutch (or shift quality on automatics)
- Mileage read from the odometer and photographed
- Chassis and underbody: signs of impact or repair
- Brakes: pads, discs, fluid
- Tyres: wear, age, spare wheel and tools
- Air conditioning: actual vent temperature measured
- Electrics: windows, seats, lights, no warning lamps
- Interior: cleanliness, odours, seats, belts
- Documents: chassis number matches the papers
You are welcome to bring your own mechanic to either park before committing.
